Horizontal Fermenter
"Wineficator Winematic"

The “Wineficator Winematic” is a horizontal fermenter designed to perfect the maceration of red wine.

A geared motor powers an anchor type agitator spanning the length of the fermentation tank. The motor is equipped with an inverter, allowing an adjustable speed of 0 to 5 rpm – in either direction. The gentle mixing breaks up and submerges the pomace cap, extracting color, tannins, flavor and aromas from the marc.

The very same agitator is part of a specially designed system that enables an automatic discharge of pomace from the horizontal fermenter.

A programmable, touchscreen control panel serves as a rotation, discharge and temperature regulator, allowing you to automatize the entire process.

The large, dimpled jacket makes sure the temperature inside the horizontal fermentation tank is always optimal. Thanks to the vertical construction of the cooling jacket, the stored liquids will be efficiently chilled even if the tank is not full to the brim.

Durable, high-quality materials enable the wine fermenter to stay in pristine condition, even after years of professional usage.

AISI 304

The horizontal fermenter is made out of AISI 304 quality stainless steel. An upgrade to AISI 316L stainless steel is available for high-corrosion environments.

Marbled Finish

A high-polish, marbled finish is applied to the outside of the horizontal fermentation tank. Matte and Scotch Brite finishes are also available upon request. The inside is BA (IIId) polished.

Horizontal Build

This tank was designed specifically to perfect the maceration of red wine. When paired with an agitator, the horizontal construction allows the optimal extraction of flavors.

Built-in Agitator

The horizontal fermenter features an agitator mounted to a geared motor with an inverter. It breaks up the pomace cap and works at 0 to 5 rpm in any direction.

Control Panel

The pump-over wine fermentation tank comes with a programmable, touchscreen control panel. It regulates the pump and temperature inside the tank, allowing you to automatize the entire process.

Pomace Discharge

The rotating blades mounted to the bottom of the wine fermentation tank gently push the leftover pomace out of the rectangular doors, automatizing discharge.

Dimple Jacket

A dimple jacket is a thin, spotted shell that regulates tank temperatures with the help of a cooling/heating medium such as glycol. They are made of light-weight materials and spot-welded for minimal additional weight.

Stacking Technology

Make smart use of your limited cellar space by stacking tanks on top of each other. Stacking allows you to reorganize your production line and make it more efficient than ever.
